How to Use Your Super Effectively in Destiny 2

How to Use Your Super Effectively in Destiny 2In Destiny 2, the top PvP weapons are super-heavies and juggernauts. These can be found in all of the Crucible maps, but they will likely be the most useful when fighting other players who are using light weapons. However, using them against an enemy that is using a heavy weapon is not recommended since your best chance of taking him down is probably by using the super. Not everyone can or should use a super for their PvP weapon, but it is still an important tool to have when fighting other players who have one. This is particularly true if you are a PvP Slayer, as the increased damage you can do to a player can make a big difference. I will explain some tips to get the most out of your super, so you can play more effectively. The first thing you should do is stop using them when you aren't fighting players who don't need to be protected. Keep them on your back in Crucible, but keep in mind that a few players will find a way to kill you wit h a shield or simply run past you, while others will come at you with guns or melee. If you happen to be lucky enough to fight against a heavy weapon user, you need to simply sit back and let him waste his weapons, then go for the super. The other way to use your super is to actually burst through the shields of someone who is using a super, then let loose with your combo to finish him off.The next thing you should do is only use your super when you are a significant distance away from the enemy. If you are closer than this, you may think you can easily make short work of him, but he might just be faster than you. The best way to combat this is to move in to close range only after the enemy is too far away to effectively attack you. The best way to do this is by staying in a distance and using your melee attack when he gets close enough to getto you.The final thing you should do is learn which enemies are good candidates for super attacks. If you know these people, you can better pr epare yourself for when you get the chance to unleash your full potential. Remember that you can also use your super once you are too far away, but you will still want to know when you can use it. If you stay inside the armor of an enemy using a super, you can use the explosion to finish him off, although you will only be doing so by using the super at close range. When you are inside the armor of an enemy using a light weapon, however, you can make a charge up shot to take him out without having to use the super. For more information on playing in PvP, please see my Destiny 2 article.
